• Volunteers are needed for overnights at the Casa de Samaritan Emergency Shelter located 716 Grand Ave. Are you or is someone you know willing and able to provide services to the less fortunate in our community and surrounding areas? The shelter usually opens on Nov. 1, but this date is always dependent on weather. If interested or want to know more about this program, call the shelter at 429-3730 or 454-1390.
