• Interested in fostering or adopting a New Mexico child? Call CYFD at 1-800-432-2075 for more information.

• Fourth Judicial District Court Appointed Special Advocates needs volunteers. The local CASA program is taking applications for volunteers. Call 454-0223 or visit the office.

• The “Si Se Puede” group of Narcotics Anonymous meets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 310 Mills Ave. Everyone is welcome. For more information, call the NA helpline: 800-925-4186 or Frances at 575-815-8544

• Alcoholics Anonymous Hotline is 425-3577.

• First Born program provides services to families in San Miguel and Mora counties. It is a free and confidential home visiting program. Home visitors support prenatal moms and families with children up to 3 years of age in the areas of breastfeeding, child development and other areas. To learn more about the program, or to schedule an informational visit, call 454-1343. FBNNM also offers a Mommy’s Meet Up support group.

• The Adoptive and Foster Spiritual Group meets from 6 to 8 p.m. every second and fourth Thursday at Our Lady of Sorrows religious education building. The group provides spiritual support to families with adopted and foster children. For more information, call Dolores Ortega or Savannah Montoya at 505-440-8686.
